Sr. Cost Controller

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in cost control, inventory management, food and beverage operations, or a related field.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Must possess a valid passport with at least two (2) years and six (6) months validity.
  • Must have GCC work experience, preferably with a well-established large company.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage costing, inventory control systems, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage cost-related data accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different departments to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of daily food and beverage costs to monitor profitability and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Review cost reports and recommend effective cost-saving alternatives while maintaining quality standards.
  • Conduct regular food and beverage inventory spot checks to verify stock accuracy and compliance with established control procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of food and beverage inventory, including updated pricing, stock levels, and cost information.
  • Ensure inventory records are accurate and accessible to authorized stakeholders.
  • Monitor stock movement, wastage, and consumption trends to improve operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with operations, purchasing, and finance teams regarding inventory controls and cost management.
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations to management for improved cost performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and financial control standards.
