Spare Parts Storekeeper (Food Industries)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Must be a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate holder in a related field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse or spare parts inventory management.
• Experience in food manufacturing, food processing, industrial, or maintenance stores is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar inventory software.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of proper storage, handling, and inventory control practices in a food manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming spare parts, materials, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Store spare parts in an organized, safe, clean, and accessible manner.
• Ensure proper labeling, identification, and categorization of all spare parts and materials.
• Issue spare parts against approved requests and maintain accurate issuance records.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock, obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving items.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory with system records.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management software.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to replenish stock and monitor incoming deliveries.
• Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, and monthly stock summaries.
• Identify damaged, expired, obsolete, or slow-moving items and report them for appropriate action.
• Maintain proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety standards within the spare parts store.
• Ensure spare parts are properly stored and protected from damage, contamination, or deterioration.
• Support maintenance teams by providing required spare parts and materials in a timely manner.
• Follow company procedures for inventory control, asset management, food industry safety requirements, and warehouse operations.
• Perform other storekeeping, inventory, and warehouse duties as assigned.
