Sheet Metal Fabricator
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator or similar role.
- Candidates must be a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Must have welding and mechanical skills.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Experience in metal fabrication, cutting, shaping, and assembly is required.
- Must have a valid passport, driver’s license (car restriction), NBI clearance, and trade certificates.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components based on technical drawings and blueprints.
- Cut, shape, bend, and form metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery.
- Perform welding and mechanical fitting tasks as required for fabrication and assembly work.
- Ensure precise measurement and alignment of metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written/verbal instructions accurately.
- Operate cutting and shaping equipment for accurate metal fabrication.
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and organized condition.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and fabrication standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
