Service Advisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Bachelors/College Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• An associate degree in mechanics or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive technology and repair processes.
• Proficiency in industry-specific software and systems.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and direct them to available mechanics or service personnel.
• Consult with mechanics to identify necessary repairs and recommend cost-effective alternatives when possible.
• Provide customers with detailed information about services, parts, and repair options.
• Answer inquiries regarding service outcomes, timelines, and costs.
• Schedule and manage service appointments, including vehicle drop-off and pick-up.
• Advise customers on warranty coverage, cost-saving options, and whether to repair or trade in their vehicles.
• Oversee and manage the service workflow and daily scheduling of the dealership.
• Contact customers to provide updates on service status, changes, or completion times.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate documentation of services rendered, costs, and process customer payments.
• Coordinate with service technicians regarding parts ordering and ensure availability of required parts.
