Corrugation Machine Operator

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Others or a similar technical field.
• Previous experience operating paper bag-making, corrugation, packaging, or other paper production machinery is an advantage.
• Knowledge of machine setup, operation, adjustment, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to monitor machine performance and identify production or equipment problems.
• Good understanding of product quality inspection and defect identification.
• Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow production instructions, machine operating procedures, and safety regulations.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or extended production hours when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate paper bag-making machines with handle attachment systems according to production requirements.
• Check machine settings and production materials before starting operations.
• Monitor machine performance throughout the production process to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
• Adjust machine settings, speed, alignment, and other operating parameters as necessary to maintain product quality.
• Monitor the production process and identify irregularities, machine malfunctions, or quality issues.
• Inspect finished paper bags for defects, proper handle attachment, dimensions, printing, folding, and overall quality.
• Ensure finished products meet established production specifications and quality standards.
• Separate defective products and report recurring quality issues to the supervisor.
• Perform basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance as required.
• Check machine components and production areas before and after operation.
• Report machine problems, breakdowns, abnormal noises, or other equipment issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting equipment problems when required.
• Maintain proper production records and report machine or production issues accurately.
• Keep the machine, tools, and surrounding work area clean, organized, and free from unnecessary hazards.
• Follow company production procedures, workplace safety rules, and proper machine operating practices.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety precautions when operating machinery.
• Perform other production and machine operation duties assigned by management.
