Greentech Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Solar PV Installer (Working Foreman) for an overseas work opportunity in Vanuatu. The successful candidate will lead and participate in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including rooftop, ground-mounted, commercial, and large-scale solar projects.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or vocational course in Electrical/Electrician or related field.
- TESDA NC II/NC III in Electrical Installation & Maintenance, Solar PV Systems, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of actual solar PV installation experience.
- Proven experience installing both rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems.
- Experience working on commercial solar projects, including projects up to MW scale.
- Strong practical knowledge of solar PV installation, electrical wiring, mounting systems, and PV components.
- Experience leading or supervising solar installation teams is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand PV layouts, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of solar PV commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Must hold a valid driving license for a car, pickup, light truck, or heavy vehicle.
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on installation work.
- Comfortable working at heights, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible, hardworking, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- Willing to work on commercial and large-scale solar PV projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and large-scale projects.
- Install and assemble solar panels, mounting structures, rails, supports, and related PV components.
- Perform installation work on both rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
- Supervise daily activities of solar PV installers, electricians, and other site workers.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, PV system layouts, single-line diagrams, installation plans, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate the installation of PV modules, inverters, combiner boxes, disconnects, cables, wiring, grounding, and other electrical components.
- Ensure proper positioning, alignment, orientation, and secure installation of solar modules and mounting systems.
- Perform DC and AC electrical connections in accordance with approved designs and applicable safety requirements.
- Assist with the installation and connection of solar inverters, monitoring systems, batteries, and other renewable energy equipment when required.
- Conduct electrical testing, system checks, commissioning, and troubleshooting of installed PV systems.
- Identify and resolve installation, wiring, equipment, and system performance issues.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure proper workmanship, system integrity, and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with project engineers, electricians, contractors, suppliers, and clients during installation activities.
- Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure installation targets are achieved.
- Monitor the use of tools, equipment, materials, and personal protective equipment on site.
- Ensure proper handling, transportation, and storage of solar panels, electrical components, and installation materials.
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, materials used, testing results, and site progress.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and promote safe working practices among the installation team.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, construction, working-at-height, and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the project.
- Perform routine maintenance and corrective work on solar PV systems when required.
- Drive company vehicles to transport workers, tools, equipment, and materials between project locations when necessary.
- Perform other solar PV installation, supervisory, maintenance, and technical duties assigned by management.
