SECURITY GUARD

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in security, security operations, or a similar position is preferred.
• Former police officers or military personnel are acceptable.
• Experience in access control, security patrol, CCTV monitoring, crowd control, and incident reporting is an advantage.
• Basic first aid skills are advantageous.
• Good observation, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Physically fit and capable of conducting extended foot or vehicle patrols.
• Alert, disciplined, trustworthy, and able to respond calmly and appropriately during emergencies.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional customer service at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Control access to residential, commercial, industrial, or restricted premises by verifying IDs, credentials, and visitor information.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, issue visitor passes, and prevent unauthorized persons from entering the premises.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas and perimeters to identify suspicious activity, property damage, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, access control systems, and building security equipment for suspicious or unlawful activity.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, medical emergencies, fires, unauthorized entry, and other emergencies until police, fire, medical, or other emergency services arrive.
• Manage crowds and vehicle traffic at high-traffic locations such as malls, hotels, commercial establishments, and public events.
• Maintain a visible security presence and take appropriate action to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security threats.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and prepare detailed incident, accident, and security reports.
• Report suspicious persons, incidents, damages, equipment problems, and security concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Provide directions and basic assistance to employees, visitors, and customers while maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow established security procedures, emergency protocols, and workplace safety regulations.
