Scale Collector and Housekeeping

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a steel manufacturing company.
• Must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Experience in industrial housekeeping, plant cleaning, or material handling within a steel factory is preferred.
• Must provide a Certificate of Employment from previous employer(s).
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures in industrial environments.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in a steel plant setting.
• Flexible and willing to perform various tasks assigned by the company.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Collect mill scale, metal residue, and production waste from designated plant areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of production floors, workstations, and surrounding facilities.
• Perform housekeeping duties in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Assist in the proper segregation, handling, and disposal of industrial waste materials.
• Ensure walkways, work areas, and operational zones remain clean and free from hazards.
• Support production and maintenance teams in general housekeeping activities.
• Operate basic cleaning tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or housekeeping concerns to supervisors.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
