SALON STAFF

Qualifications:

• Applicants with no work experience are welcome to apply.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in a relevant or similar field.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Basic knowledge or training in salon, hairdressing, nail care, beauty services, or a related field is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn different salon treatments, techniques, products, and procedures.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, courteous, patient, and professional when dealing with clients.
• Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, organization, and personal grooming.
• Ability to follow instructions and salon procedures accurately.
• Willingness to assist senior stylists and other salon personnel.
• Basic ability to handle salon tools and equipment safely.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing salon-related duties.
• Willingness to work in Kuwait and adapt to the salon’s workplace environment and service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform salon and beauty treatments according to assigned duties and level of training.
• Assist with hair cutting, styling, coloring, nail services, or other salon treatments as assigned.
• Assist senior stylists and beauty professionals during client services when required.
• Prepare tools, equipment, products, and workstations before client appointments.
• Follow proper salon procedures and instructions when performing assigned treatments.
• Provide courteous, professional, and attentive service to clients.
• Assist clients with basic inquiries regarding salon services and available beauty products.
• Recommend suitable beauty and personal-care products based on client needs and salon guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the salon.
• Sanitize and properly store tools and equipment after every use.
• Clean workstations, mirrors, chairs, treatment areas, and other salon facilities regularly.
• Keep common areas, reception areas, and client spaces clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures when handling salon equipment and products.
• Monitor salon supplies and report low-stock items to the supervisor.
• Assist with checking and organizing inventory and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Process customer payments accurately using the salon’s approved payment procedures.
• Issue receipts and assist with basic transaction records when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues.
• Support appointment preparation and other day-to-day salon activities.
• Follow instructions from senior stylists, supervisors, and salon management.
• Perform other salon-related duties assigned by management.
