SALES ASSOCIATE

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Sales Associate, Retail Assistant, or Customer Service Representative, preferably in a supermarket or hypermarket.
• At least a High School Graduate.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a pleasing personality and good English communication skills.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of fresh produce, deli products, meat, or seafood is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers warmly and provide professional, courteous, and efficient service.
• Assist customers in selecting products from the Produce & Deli, Meat, and Fish & Seafood sections.
• Provide accurate information about products, pricing, promotions, and available services.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints to maintain positive customer relationships.
• Ensure shelves, display counters, and refrigerated cases are fully stocked, clean, and attractively arranged.
• Monitor product freshness and quality, removing damaged or expired items from display.
• Rotate stock using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method to minimize waste.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with department supervisors to replenish stock and support daily store operations.
• Process customer requests accurately and assist with product packaging when required.
• Follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and customer service standards at all times.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Department Supervisor or Store Manager.
