Stellar Recruitment (NZ) Limited is seeking skilled Residential and Commercial Painters to join construction projects across New Zealand. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, coatings, and finishes, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in residential and commercial settings.

Residential / Commercial Painter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of overseas work experience in painting
• Proven experience in residential and commercial painting
• Experience in intumescent painting is an advantage
• Preferably under 45 years old
• Knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and tools
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good physical stamina and adherence to safety practices

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming for painting
• Apply paints, stains, and coatings to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
• Perform intumescent or fireproof coating applications where required
• Ensure high-quality finishes and attention to detail
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades for smooth project execution
• Manage painting tools and equipment efficiently
• Provide estimates and reports on painting work as needed

• Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC).
• OFW Information Sheets.
