REGISTERED NURSE

Qualifications:

• Female applicants are preferred, as specified by the employer.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Registered Nurse with the appropriate nursing qualifications and professional registration required for employment in Singapore.
• Experience in Emergency Room (ER), Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, or General Ward is an advantage.
• Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, medication administration, and nursing care skills.
• Good knowledge of infection prevention, patient safety, and standard nursing procedures.
• Ability to recognize changes in patients’ conditions and respond appropriately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with patients, families, doctors, and healthcare colleagues.
• Compassionate, responsible, patient-focused, and capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple patient care responsibilities in a hospital environment.
• Strong documentation, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Committed to maintaining professional nursing standards, patient confidentiality, and ethical healthcare practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards and procedures.
• Assess patients’ health conditions, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in their condition that require medical attention.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed by physicians and according to established protocols.
• Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals with examinations, procedures, treatments, and patient care activities.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patients’ conditions and care needs.
• Monitor patients’ progress and promptly report significant changes or concerns to physicians and the appropriate healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, nursing interventions, medications, treatments, and clinical observations.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other nursing procedures within the scope of professional practice.
• Provide health education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment, medication, recovery, and preventive care.
• Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices are followed at all times.
• Maintain patient safety and assist in preventing falls, injuries, medication errors, and other healthcare-related risks.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and provide immediate nursing interventions when required.
• Coordinate with doctors, allied health professionals, caregivers, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, discharge, and related nursing procedures.
• Ensure medical equipment, supplies, and patient care areas are properly maintained and ready for use.
• Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, workplace safety procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional nursing ethics at all times.
• Participate in clinical activities, quality improvement programs, training, and other professional development initiatives as required.
• Perform other nursing and patient care duties assigned by management.
