Nashar Meat Company is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems in our meat processing plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial cooling systems, technical training, and knowledge of food-grade refrigeration safety standards.

REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN (MEAT PROCESSING PLANT)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration systems, preferably in food or meat manufacturing environments.
• Technical diploma or ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia, freon, glycol loops).
• Relevant safety and environmental certifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot industrial refrigeration systems including ammonia, freon, and glycol loops.
• Ensure proper operation of refrigeration equipment to maintain optimal temperature control for meat processing and storage.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on refrigeration systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and food hygiene regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
