QUALITY INSPECTOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Previous experience in quality inspection, electronics testing, mobile device inspection, repair quality control, or refurbishment is preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic devices, components, and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience inspecting repaired or refurbished smartphones, tablets, or similar electronic devices is an advantage.
- Ability to perform detailed visual and functional inspections.
- Knowledge of testing touchscreen, buttons, cameras, speakers, microphones, charging systems, and connectivity features.
- Ability to identify scratches, cracks, dents, gaps, improper assembly, and other physical defects.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow quality-control checklists, procedures, and technical instructions.
- Good problem-solving and defect-identification skills.
- Ability to document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Ability to work closely with repair technicians and other production personnel.
- Patient and methodical when performing repetitive testing and inspection tasks.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Physically capable of performing detailed inspection work for extended periods.
- Responsible, reliable, and quality-conscious.
- Willing to learn new electronic devices, testing procedures, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect electronic components, devices, and refurbished units for defects, damage, and quality issues.
- Perform detailed visual inspections of repaired and refurbished devices.
- Check physical appearance for scratches, cracks, dents, gaps, marks, discoloration, and other cosmetic defects.
- Inspect devices for improper assembly, loose components, misalignment, or damaged parts.
- Verify that repaired devices have been properly assembled according to established procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive functional testing of electronic devices after repair or refurbishment.
- Test touchscreen functionality and responsiveness.
- Check buttons, switches, and other physical controls for proper operation.
- Test cameras, speakers, microphones, and other device functions.
- Verify charging ports, charging functionality, and battery performance where applicable.
- Test device connectivity, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile network, and other applicable connections.
- Check display quality, touch sensitivity, sound output, and other relevant functions.
- Compare tested devices against established quality-control checklists and specifications.
- Identify defective components, incomplete repairs, improper assembly, and functional failures.
- Separate failed units and prevent defective products from being released.
- Record inspection results accurately and completely.
- Document defects, test results, rejected units, and required corrective actions.
- Coordinate with repair technicians regarding defects or issues identified during inspection.
- Re-test repaired units after corrective work has been completed.
- Verify that replacement components are properly installed and functioning correctly.
- Ensure repaired and refurbished devices meet company quality standards before final approval.
- Monitor recurring quality issues and report them to supervisors or quality-control management.
- Assist in identifying common repair or refurbishment defects and possible causes.
- Follow established quality-control procedures, inspection standards, and testing protocols.
- Handle electronic devices carefully to prevent scratches, damage, or contamination during inspection.
- Maintain inspection tools, testing equipment, workstations, and quality-control areas in good condition.
- Keep the inspection area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling electronic devices and testing equipment.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect customer information contained on electronic devices.
- Perform other quality-control and inspection duties assigned by management.
