QC Civil Inspector

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a QC Civil Inspector.
• Candidates must be at least a High School Graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Experience in oil and gas projects is required.
• Familiar with ISO, ASME, and API standards applicable to civil construction and quality control.
• Knowledge of civil inspection procedures, concrete works, rebar inspection, soil compaction testing, and material quality control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills with a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify rebar installation, formwork, embedded items, and concrete works before, during, and after concrete placement.
• Verify concrete slump tests, monitor concrete pouring activities, and ensure compliance with approved procedures and project specifications.
• Conduct or witness soil compaction testing and other field quality tests to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
• Inspect incoming construction materials and review material certificates, laboratory test reports, and other quality documentation to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Daily QC Reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and project teams to obtain required approvals.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
• Identify quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on the resolution of non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure all quality documentation is complete and up to date.
