The Project Manager will serve as company owner representative for the hotel construction project in Palau. This role is responsible for overseeing daily project coordination, communication, and operational management between the design consultants, contractors, suppliers, and company management. The Project Manager will ensure the successful execution of the project by monitoring construction progress, managing project timelines, coordinating technical and operational requirements, and maintaining alignment with approved budgets, quality standards, and project objectives. The position requires a highly organized and proactive professional capable of independently handling project-related decisions and site coordination activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional Architecture or Engineering license is preferred.
- Mandarin/Chinese language proficiency is required.
- Fluent in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in hotel development or large-scale building construction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, project scheduling software, and construction documentation management.
- Strong knowledge of construction coordination, project scheduling, budgeting, and site operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and conduct regular field/site inspections.
- Flexible to work extended hours when project deadlines or construction activities require.
Responsibilities:
- Act as company primary representative at the construction site.
- Oversee daily coordination between architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, site activities, and construction schedules.
- Ensure construction works comply with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Review drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Coordinate resolution of design clarifications and construction-related issues
- Monitor project expenses and support cost control efforts.
- Exercise delegated approval authority for project-related expenses within approved limits.
- Prepare regular project progress reports and updates for management.
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders and management teams.
- Coordinate with local authorities, inspectors, and permitting agencies regarding project compliance.
- Support regulatory and permit-related requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management related to the project and company operations.
