Celine Pottery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pottery Instructor / Studio Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pottery studio while delivering high-quality pottery instruction to students of various skill levels. The successful candidate will combine artistic expertise with strong organizational and technical management skills to ensure a safe, efficient, and inspiring studio environment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as a Pottery Instructor, Ceramic Artist, Studio Manager, or in a similar role.
- Must hold a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Art & Design or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ceramic techniques, kiln operation (electric and gas), pottery wheel use, glazing, and firing processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage studio operations independently while delivering quality instruction.
- Passion for ceramics, creativity, and teaching.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pottery studio, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace.
- Oversee studio inventory, including clay, glazes, tools, and other pottery supplies.
- Take full responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and safe use of electric and gas kilns, pottery wheels, and other studio equipment.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Develop and deliver engaging pottery lessons and structured curriculum for students with varying levels of experience.
- Demonstrate pottery techniques, including wheel throwing, hand-building, glazing, and firing processes.
- Provide guidance, constructive feedback, and encouragement to students to help them develop their artistic skills.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the studio.
- Assist in planning workshops, studio events, and special pottery programs.
- Foster a positive, creative, and professional learning environment.
