Australian Skilled Migration is seeking an experienced and skilled Pool Rendering worker to join a professional swimming pool construction team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying render to swimming pool surfaces, achieving smooth and durable finishes, and accurately working around curves, corners, steps, and other pool structures. Strong trowel and finishing skills, attention to detail, and hands-on pool construction experience are essential for this role.

POOL RENDERING

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in the same field is required.
• At least 1 year of college or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
• Hands-on experience in pool rendering and swimming pool construction.
• Excellent trowel and finishing skills.
• Skilled in smoothly rendering curves, corners, and steps.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality finishes.
• Good understanding of rendering techniques, surface preparation, leveling, and finishing.
• Ability to work accurately with different pool shapes and detailed surfaces.
• Physically capable of performing hands-on construction and rendering work.
• Able to follow construction plans, measurements, technical instructions, and workplace procedures.
• Good teamwork and communication skills when working with other construction personnel.
• Reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to maintain consistent quality under project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform rendering and finishing work on swimming pools and related structures.
• Prepare pool surfaces before rendering, including cleaning, leveling, and checking surfaces for proper application.
• Mix and prepare rendering materials according to project requirements and proper application procedures.
• Apply render evenly to pool walls, floors, steps, curves, corners, and other surfaces.
• Use trowels and appropriate hand tools to achieve smooth, even, and consistent finishes.
• Accurately render curved and irregular pool surfaces while maintaining the required shape and profile.
• Render corners, steps, edges, transitions, and other detailed areas with precision.
• Ensure rendered surfaces are properly leveled and finished according to construction specifications.
• Identify uneven areas, imperfections, cracks, or other surface issues and carry out necessary corrections.
• Maintain consistent thickness and coverage of rendering materials throughout the pool structure.
• Perform final finishing and smoothing work to achieve a high-quality surface ready for subsequent pool construction processes.
• Work from construction plans, measurements, specifications, and instructions when required.
• Measure and check surfaces to ensure accurate dimensions, levels, slopes, and finishes.
• Coordinate with pool builders, concreters, tilers, and other construction workers to ensure smooth project progress.
• Handle rendering materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from unnecessary hazards.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inspect completed rendering work and correct defects or imperfections before handover.
• Perform other pool rendering and construction-related duties as assigned.
