Gusan Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support major plant construction projects in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within established timelines.
PLANNING ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Planning Engineer.
- Must have at least 5 years of overseas experience in Plant Construction, such as Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical projects.
- Strong knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project planning and scheduling.
- Experience in resource forecasting, progress tracking, and schedule management.
- Good command of written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and optimize project schedules to achieve construction milestones and project objectives.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, and site construction activities to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Prepare detailed work plans, resource forecasts, and project progress reports.
- Coordinate the allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity.
- Support planning activities for drilling, production, and field development operations, where applicable.
- Conduct schedule analysis, risk assessments, and recovery planning to maintain project performance.
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning updates to project management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company standards.
- Utilize planning and scheduling software to monitor project performance and maintain accurate project documentation.
