Patient Care Assistant
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Nursing, or a related field.
- Nursing or healthcare-related experience is highly advantageous.
- Must have good communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be compassionate, patient, responsible, and capable of providing quality patient care.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with medication administration and reminders according to established care instructions and requirements.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and general health condition and promptly report any changes or concerns.
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients or clients.
- Engage patients in appropriate activities, conversations, and daily routines to promote comfort and well-being.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation, including services provided, client progress, and health status.
- Observe and report changes in the patient’s physical, emotional, or behavioral condition.
- Provide day-to-day assistance while maintaining the patient’s safety, comfort, dignity, and privacy.
- Follow established care plans, instructions, and applicable health and safety procedures.
