Mado Turkey is seeking a customer-focused and experienced Pastry Staff for Counter to join its bakery and pastry service team in Qatar. The successful candidate will assist customers in selecting pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and other bakery products while maintaining attractive product displays and ensuring proper packaging and customer service.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Basic knowledge of pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and bakery products.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, courteous, and professional attitude.
• Ability to explain product ingredients, flavors, prices, and recommendations.
• Good attention to detail and presentation.
• Ability to maintain clean, attractive, and organized product displays.
• Experience in bakery, pastry shop, café, restaurant, or retail food service is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
• Responsible, hardworking, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers in selecting pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and other bakery products.
• Provide information about product ingredients, flavors, prices, promotions, and available options.
• Make recommendations based on customer preferences and requests.
• Answer customer questions about bakery products accurately and professionally.
• Arrange and maintain attractive pastry and bakery product displays.
• Replenish products regularly and ensure displays remain neat and well-organized.
• Check product freshness, appearance, and presentation throughout the day.
• Ensure bakery products are properly handled and protected from contamination.
• Package pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and other products carefully according to company standards.
• Label and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Assist with taking customer orders and processing transactions when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, display areas, packaging stations, and surrounding areas.
• Monitor product availability and inform supervisors when items need to be replenished.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and company service standards.
• Handle customer concerns and requests professionally.
• Coordinate with pastry and bakery production teams to maintain adequate product availability.
• Perform other counter service and bakery-related duties as assigned.
