People Inc. is seeking experienced and highly skilled Panel Beaters to join a professional heavy vehicle repair team in New Zealand. The successful candidates will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and refinishing the bodywork of buses, trucks, trailers, and other heavy vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of industry experience as a Panel Beater/Denter, including painting buses, trucks, trailers, or similar heavy vehicles.
• Must hold a valid Class 2 and Class 4 Driver Licence, or an equivalent overseas driver’s licence.
• Proven skills in vehicle body repair, dent removal, panel replacement, surface preparation, painting, and refinishing.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a te

Responsibilities:

• Repair damaged vehicle panels, frames, and body structures.
• Remove dents and replace damaged panels using appropriate repair techniques.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and masking.
• Perform painting and refinishing of buses, trucks, trailers, and other heavy vehicles.
• Straighten and align vehicle body components using specialized tools and equipment.
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality and manufacturer standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Operate heavy vehicles as required using the appropriate driver’s licence.
