OVERALL MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in MEP, facility maintenance, maintenance planning, scope preparation, or cost estimation.
- Experience working on Saudi Aramco or large industrial facility maintenance projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, fire protection, and building services.
- Experience preparing detailed scopes of work, maintenance plans, technical specifications, and engineering estimates.
- Thorough understanding of United States Building Codes and accepted engineering standards.
- Ability to read, interpret, and prepare engineering drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
- Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Fully conversant in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and engineering documentation software.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop detailed scopes of work for preventive, corrective, and emergency facility maintenance activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance work involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, fire protection, and other building services.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents to ensure maintenance activities meet project requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), work schedules, and maintenance plans for facility management projects.
- Coordinate with Saudi Aramco representatives, engineers, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify maintenance requirements and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
- Monitor contractor performance and verify that work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements, applicable engineering standards, and United States Building Codes.
- Prepare engineering reports, maintenance documentation, technical evaluations, and project progress updates.
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical and MEP systems to minimize equipment downtime and improve facility reliability.
- Participate in planning meetings and provide technical guidance on maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout project execution.
