On Call Residential Cleaner

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one (1) year of relevant working experience is required.
• At least a High School Graduate.
• Previous experience as a cleaner is an advantage.
• Experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, hotel cleaning, commercial cleaning, or similar work is an advantage.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, detergents, and their proper use.
• Ability to safely operate basic cleaning tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing cleaning activities for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and client requirements.
• Responsible, trustworthy, hardworking, and dependable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and willing to respond to assigned or on-call cleaning schedules.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned residential areas according to established service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of rooms, living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and other residential spaces.
• Dust, wipe, and clean surfaces, furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, and other household areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets, sinks, showers, and other sanitary facilities.
• Clean and sanitize kitchens, countertops, sinks, appliances, and food preparation areas.
• Clean common areas and other assigned spaces as required.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of household waste properly and safely.
• Sort waste and follow applicable waste disposal procedures.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, tissue, and other consumable items as needed.
• Use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, detergents, and other cleaning products correctly and safely.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Check assigned areas after cleaning to ensure that required standards of cleanliness and presentation are met.
• Report maintenance problems, damaged fixtures, equipment issues, leaks, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Inform supervisors when cleaning materials, supplies, or equipment need replenishment or replacement.
• Properly use and maintain cleaning tools, vacuum cleaners, mops, buckets, and other equipment.
• Store cleaning materials and equipment safely after use.
• Follow workplace health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals or performing tasks that require protection.
• Protect household furniture, fixtures, appliances, and personal belongings while performing cleaning duties.
• Maintain professionalism, courtesy, confidentiality, and respect for clients and occupants.
• Respond to assigned cleaning requests and perform duties efficiently according to the required schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and occupants.
• Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor or client.
