Kyomachi Sangyo Co., Ltd. is seeking compassionate, responsible, and qualified Nursing Care Workers to provide assistance and daily care to patients in Japan. The successful candidates will support patients with personal care, meals, appointments, medication monitoring, and medical documentation while ensuring their comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being.
NURSING CARE WORKER
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Nursing or a similar field.
- Basic knowledge and experience in patient care, nursing assistance, or elderly and healthcare support services.
- Ability to assist patients with bathing, feeding, personal hygiene, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
- Knowledge of basic patient-care procedures, hygiene, safety, and infection-control practices.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and medical charts.
- Ability to monitor medication schedules and follow healthcare professionals’ instructions.
- Good observation skills and ability to recognize and promptly report changes in a patient’s condition.
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, responsible, and trustworthy personality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient and medical information.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare and caregiving team.
- Japanese language ability at JLPT N4/N5 level, suitable for basic and daily-conversation communication in the workplace.
- Willingness to communicate and continue improving Japanese language skills while working in Japan.
- Physically and emotionally capable of performing patient-care duties, including assisting with mobility and personal care.
- Willingness to follow Japanese workplace procedures, healthcare standards, and instructions from supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and assistance to patients according to their individual needs and established care plans.
- Assist patients with bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, and other personal care activities.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and other activities of daily living when required.
- Assist patients during meals and ensure that food and fluids are provided safely and appropriately.
- Observe patients’ physical condition, behavior, and general well-being and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
- Schedule and coordinate necessary appointments, including visits to the patient’s doctor and other healthcare providers.
- Assist with arranging appointments and coordinating schedules with patients’ families when necessary.
- Accompany or assist patients during medical visits and other necessary appointments as assigned.
- Maintain and update patient medical charts and care records accurately.
- Record relevant observations, care provided, patient condition, and changes in health status.
- Monitor patients’ medications according to established instructions and report missed doses, changes, or concerns to the responsible healthcare professional.
- Assist with medication-related documentation and ensure records are properly maintained.
- Communicate relevant patient information to nurses, doctors, supervisors, and other members of the care team.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and respect at all times.
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to patients.
- Assist patients with daily routines and activities to promote independence and quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient-care environment.
- Follow proper infection-control, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Properly use and maintain patient-care equipment and supplies.
- Report accidents, injuries, emergencies, or changes in the patient’s condition immediately to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow instructions from nurses, doctors, supervisors, and other authorized healthcare professionals.
- Perform other nursing care and patient-support duties assigned by management.
