Peloton Workready is seeking experienced Nozzlemen to operate spray equipment for concrete or refractory applications, specifically in fireproofing and protective coatings. This role supports construction and industrial projects, ensuring accurate material application, structural integrity, and safety compliance.

NOZZELEMAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as a Nozzleman in SFRM or similar spray-applied systems.
• Experience with fireproofing products such as Isolatek, CAFCO, Monokote, or similar preferred.
• Ability to achieve consistent thickness, density, and finish.
• Knowledge of material performance, yield, and proper application techniques.
• Skilled in surface preparation, equipment setup, and operation.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Apply spray-applied fire resistive materials (SFRM) to structural steel, including vermiculite-based fireproofing systems.
• Operate spray equipment such as pumps, hoses, and nozzles.
• Set up and maintain consistent spray quality, thickness, and finish according to specifications.
• Work in confined, elevated, or challenging areas while maintaining safety-compliant practices.
• Read drawings and follow thickness schedules.
• Work with high-output continuous mixers and other specialized equipment.
