NDT TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Must have ASNT NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
• Proven experience as an NDT Technician, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong understanding of NDT techniques, industry standards, and safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret test results and produce clear and accurate reports.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as ASME, API, and ASTM.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor and offshore settings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on materials and equipment used in the oil and gas sector, including pipelines, machinery, and structural components.
• Use Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT) methods to inspect the integrity of materials and detect defects.
• Interpret NDT results and prepare comprehensive reports to document findings and recommendations for further action.
• Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations while performing NDT procedures.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to support inspection and quality assurance efforts.
• Ensure that all NDT work is carried out in compliance with client specifications, company policies, and industry best practices.
