KBR Services LLC is seeking qualified Canteen Coordinators for deployment to Qatar. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing dining hall and tea pantry operations, ensuring efficient food service, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service within industrial catering or institutional dining facilities.
CANTEEN COORDINATOR
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in industrial catering, camps, institutional dining, or similar food service operations.
Male applicants are preferred for this role. - HACCP certification is required.
- Basic computer skills, including report preparation and documentation.
- Course certificate in Basic First Aid and CPR is required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dining service operations.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise staff and coordinate multiple operational activities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and during peak service periods.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the dining hall, canteen, and tea pantry services.
- Ensure the smooth, efficient, and timely serving of meals to customers and staff.
- Monitor food service quality and ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
- Ensure proper setup and arrangement of dining areas, tables, counters, and service stations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of dining facilities.
- Monitor crowd flow and manage dining operations efficiently, especially during peak meal periods.
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP requirements.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, catering teams, and service personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain a friendly, respectful, and service-oriented atmosphere for customers and staff.
- Conduct routine inspections of dining facilities and report maintenance or operational issues.
- Prepare reports, records, and documentation related to food service operations.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment of dining supplies and pantry items.
- Provide first aid assistance during emergencies when necessary.
