FPA Pacific Corp. is seeking a skilled MMRW (Heavy Equipment Body & Metal Fabrication Technician) to join its maintenance team in the Northern Mariana Islands. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and restoring the body, frame, and structural components of heavy equipment, ensuring all repairs meet safety, durability, and quality standards.
MMRW (Heavy Equipment Body & Metal Fabrication Technician)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in heavy equipment body repair, metal fabrication, or equipment restoration.
- At least a High School Graduate.
- Skilled in dent removal, metal shaping, welding, grinding, and fiberglass repair/application.
- Knowledgeable in the use of industrial repair tools, fabrication equipment, and materials for heavy machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess damage to heavy equipment bodies, panels, frames, and fiberglass components.
- Repair and restore damaged parts through metal straightening, fabrication, welding, and fiberglass repair techniques.
- Perform grinding, sanding, body filling, panel replacement, and structural reinforcement as required.
- Fabricate and install replacement metal components using appropriate fabrication tools and equipment.
- Prepare repaired surfaces for painting by cleaning, smoothing, and applying necessary body fillers and primers.
- Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and metal-forming equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all repair work complies with company quality standards and workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain repair records and report completed work to supervisors.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
