CAS Recruitment Ltd. – Greek Branch is seeking highly skilled and experienced MIG/TIG Welders for deployment to Greece. The successful candidate will perform precision welding and fabrication work while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.
MIG/TIG WELDER
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of verifiable and proven working experience in MIG and TIG welding across various metals.
- Must possess a passed Welder’s Qualification Test (WQT).
- Must hold valid TESDA NCII Certificates in both GMAW and GTAW disciplines.
- Ability to produce high-quality welds with precision and consistency.
- Familiar with welding safety standards, fabrication procedures, and welding codes.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
- Good knowledge of metallurgy and welding materials.
- Knowledgeable in various welding techniques including:
- MIG / TIG Welding
- Plasma Cutting
- Arc Welding
- Oxy-Fuel Welding
- Manual and Mechanical Welding Techniques
- Competent in inspecting finished work to ensure compliance with blueprint tolerances and project specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good English communication skills are required.
- Must have a newly renewed passport.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding operations on different metal materials according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding instructions accurately.
- Prepare metal surfaces and materials before welding and fabrication work.
- Operate welding equipment, plasma cutters, grinders, and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect welds and finished products to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are achieved.
- Repair welding defects and perform corrective work when necessary.
- Ensure proper selection of welding materials, filler metals, and techniques for each project.
- Follow welding safety procedures, workplace regulations, and proper PPE requirements at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of welding tools, machines, and work areas.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and fabrication teams to meet production schedules and quality targets.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary starts at €1,200.00 gross monthly.
- Forty-Eight (48) working hours / Six (6) days a week .
- Accommodation will be provided.
- Contract duration is for 1 year.
