Steefco is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in steel manufacturing or forming & coating industries. The ideal candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems associated with advanced machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production operations.
MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Experience in steel manufacturing or forming & coating industries is required.
- Hands-on expertise with machinery such as Robomaster, Barwise, and Shearline.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems on machinery such as Robomaster, Barwise, and Shearline.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent equipment downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults in production machinery.
- Ensure all mechanical operations comply with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machine performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
