MECHANICAL ENGINEER / QC INSPECTOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) within facility management, MEP, contracting, or construction projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Must have experience working on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), project procedures, and quality requirements.
• Relevant QA/QC certifications, such as ISO 9001, are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients, inspectors, and project teams.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role, in accordance with employer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in accordance with Saudi Aramco standards, including Schedule Q requirements.
• Review technical proposals, method statements, material submittals, and engineering documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
• Conduct internal quality audits, site inspections, and quality checks on construction activities, facility management operations, and maintenance records.
• Identify non-conformances (NCRs), perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
• Coordinate and liaise with Saudi Aramco inspectors and client representatives during inspections, audits, and technical evaluations.
• Verify that mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company quality management systems, health and safety regulations, and project procedures.
• Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, inspection records, and project quality reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote quality best practices across project teams.
