MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial machinery or robotics
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
• Knowledge of materials, fabrication, and mechanical assembly processes
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for field joint coating equipment
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, software, and field operations engineers
• Perform simulations, stress analysis, and design validation to ensure reliability and performance
• Support prototyping, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot design and operational issues, recommending improvements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications
