Mason

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Mason in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in oil & gas, refineries, energy, or heavy construction projects is an advantage.
• Skilled in bricklaying, block laying, plastering, and finishing works.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and basic construction drawings.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), employment records, or project documentation.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding construction environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform masonry works including laying bricks, blocks, and stones for construction of walls, partitions, and structures.
• Apply cement, mortar, and other bonding materials accurately according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret basic construction drawings and instructions from supervisors or engineers.
• Carry out plastering, rendering, and finishing works on interior and exterior surfaces.
• Ensure proper alignment, level, and strength of masonry structures.
• Repair and restore damaged masonry structures when required.
• Prepare surfaces and materials before construction work begins.
• Follow all site safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Coordinate with other construction workers such as steel fixers, carpenters, and general laborers to complete projects efficiently.
