Australian Skilled Migration is seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair marine engines and related mechanical systems. The successful candidate will ensure vessels operate safely and efficiently by performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair work in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

MARINE MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Marine Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Must be a college graduate.
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline marine engines.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems, propulsion systems, and onboard marine equipment.
• Technical certification or vocational training is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of international or Australian safety standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair marine engines and related systems.
• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on marine equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in marine systems.
• Test engines and equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and repair reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet operational targets.
