Adecco Czech Republic is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician Specialist to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve equipment, automated systems, and material handling operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and ensuring reliable operation of production and automated equipment.
Candidates with hands-on experience in automated systems, conveyors, material handling equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and industrial control systems are encouraged to apply. Experience with SCADA, MFC, or WES systems can provide an additional advantage.
Maintenance Technician Specialist
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in equipment maintenance, automation, or material handling systems.
- Degree or Diploma in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering, depending on the role.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Hands-on experience with automated systems, conveyors, or material handling equipment is highly advantageous.
- Experience with SCADA, MFC, WES, or similar control software is an advantage.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and automated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and control-related faults.
- Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
- Repair and replace defective components as required.
- Interpret and work from technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Maintain and troubleshoot automated systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
- Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and modification activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
- Work with control systems and software where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, and inspections.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency.
