Adecco Czech Republic is seeking an experienced Mechatronics Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and support automated equipment, material handling systems, and industrial machinery. The successful candidate will combine mechanical, electrical, and automation skills to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Candidates with hands-on experience in automated equipment, conveyors, industrial machinery, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of SCADA, MFC, or WES control systems is an additional advantage.
Mechatronics Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in equipment maintenance, automation, or material handling systems.
- Degree or Diploma in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering, depending on the role.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with automated systems, conveyors, or material handling equipment is an advantage.
- Experience with SCADA, MFC, WES, or similar control software is highly advantageous.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechatronic and automated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and control-system faults.
- Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential failures and maintenance requirements.
- Repair, replace, and adjust defective mechanical and electrical components.
- Maintain and troubleshoot automated systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Assist with equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and modifications.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot control systems and automation equipment where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment faults.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
