MACHINE OPERATOR (Thermoforming Machine)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating thermoforming machines or similar plastic-processing machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of plastic manufacturing and thermoforming production processes.
- Ability to set up, operate, and monitor industrial production machinery.
- Familiarity with machine temperature, pressure, timing, and cycle adjustments.
- Ability to inspect plastic products for defects and quality issues.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow production instructions, technical specifications, and safety procedures.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Able to work independently and as part of a production team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate thermoforming machines according to production requirements and operating procedures.
- Load and prepare plastic sheets or other raw materials for thermoforming production.
- Adjust machine settings such as temperature, pressure, forming time, and cycle settings as required.
- Monitor thermoforming machine performance throughout the production process.
- Ensure proper heating and forming of plastic materials.
- Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, shape, thickness, and overall quality.
- Identify and remove defective or non-conforming products from the production line.
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain consistent production quality.
- Monitor production output and ensure products are manufactured according to specifications.
- Perform routine checks of machine components and production equipment.
- Assist with changing molds, tooling, or machine components when required.
- Clean and maintain thermoforming machines, molds, tools, and surrounding work areas.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report major mechanical or technical problems to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
- Monitor raw material usage and report shortages or material-related issues.
- Maintain proper production records and report machine performance or production concerns.
- Follow established production schedules, work instructions, and quality control procedures.
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
- Perform other machine operation and production duties assigned by management.
