We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join Seazen Group Co. in Kuwait. The successful candidate will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring efficient workflow in a fine dining environment.

Junior Sous Chef

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen
  • Experience in Italian, Intercontinental, or International cuisine, preferably in a fine dining restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
  • Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Passion for culinary excellence and continuous learning

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff during food preparation and service
  • Monitor food quality, consistency, and portion control
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and proper storage of food supplies
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment
  • Help ensure timely food production while maintaining high quality standards
  • Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef

  • Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
