INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN RELIABILITY

Qualifications:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in instrument maintenance and reliability roles.
• Extensive experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industries (required).
• No minimum educational attainment required.
• Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation systems and plant operations.
• Experience using SAP and INtools for maintenance and data management is an advantage.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Willing to work in Qatar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reliability engineering support skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain full knowledge of plant process instrumentation and operational maintenance practices, including failure history and modifications.
• Review and improve maintenance procedures in coordination with the I&E Reliability Engineer.
• Support new installations and retrofit projects related to instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Conduct surveillance audits and inspections of critical and safety-critical instruments based on approved inspection plans.
• Identify “worst actor” equipment affecting reliability and recommend corrective actions.
• Track progress of maintenance actions and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Assist in reviewing and managing spare parts and their association with equipment in SAP.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date reliability records, documentation, and technical drawings.
• Support updates of instrumentation data in SAP and INtools systems.
