NBTC Saudi Arabia is seeking a QC Structural Inspector to ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of structural steel and concrete works in industrial, oil & gas, and construction projects. The role involves inspecting materials, fabrication, erection, and installation of structural components to meet project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.

INSPECTOR – QC (Structural)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Structural QC Inspector in industrial, oil & gas, or large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel and concrete standards, fabrication techniques, and welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspection reporting, and NDT methods.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Certification in structural inspection or relevant NDT standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect structural materials, fabrication, and installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and codes.
• Review structural drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and verify welds, bolts, and connections.
• Coordinate and oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) of structural welds as required (e.g., RT, UT, MT, PT).
• Identify and document non-conformances, ensure corrective actions are implemented, and maintain inspection records.
• Collaborate with project engineers, QA/QC teams, and contractors to resolve structural quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project HSE requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate QC reports, inspection logs, and documentation for audits.
