Industrial Painter Wet and Powder Coating

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • High School Graduate.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in wet and powder coating application.
  • Experienced in applying wet and powder coatings to manufactured parts.
  • Skilled in mixing paints according to required specifications.
  • Knowledgeable in applying coatings based on technical and operational documentation.
  • Knowledge of proper surface preparation, paint application, and coating techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection procedures for painted and powder-coated parts.
  • Familiarity with spray painting and powder coating equipment and tools.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting loads of up to 20 kg.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent coating quality.
  • Able to follow technical instructions, production procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively in an industrial production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply wet paint and powder coating to manufactured parts according to required specifications.
  • Prepare surfaces before coating by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, masking, or performing other necessary preparation.
  • Mix paints, coatings, hardeners, thinners, and other materials according to specified formulas and application requirements.
  • Follow technical and operational documentation when preparing and applying coatings.
  • Select and prepare appropriate coating materials based on the type of surface, product specifications, and required finish.
  • Operate spray guns, powder coating equipment, and other painting tools safely and correctly.
  • Apply coatings evenly and consistently to achieve the required thickness, coverage, finish, and appearance.
  • Perform proper powder coating application and follow required curing procedures.
  • Carry out wet painting processes while maintaining correct application techniques and working conditions.
  • Inspect coated parts for defects such as uneven coverage, runs, drips, pinholes, contamination, poor adhesion, or incorrect finish.
  • Perform touch-ups, corrections, or re-coating when required to meet quality standards.
  • Follow specified drying, curing, and handling procedures for finished products.
  • Properly mask areas that must remain free of paint or powder coating.
  • Monitor paint and coating materials and report shortages or material issues to the supervisor.
  • Clean and maintain spray guns, coating equipment, tools, and work areas after use.
  • Handle paints, solvents, powders, and other coating materials safely and according to workplace procedures.
  • Follow workplace health and safety requirements, chemical-handling procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain accurate and organized work practices to ensure consistent production quality.
  • Handle and move manufactured parts and materials safely, including loads of up to 20 kg.
  • Coordinate with production and quality-control personnel regarding coating requirements and defects.
  • Report equipment problems, coating defects, or other production issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Perform other industrial painting, coating, preparation, and related production duties assigned by management.
