HVAC TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Proven experience in HVAC/R installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical HVAC/R systems, including water-cooled chillers.
  • Experienced in installing HVAC systems, replacing components, and repairing compressors.
  • Able to troubleshoot VRV/VRF systems.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, control schematics, and related technical documents.
  • Skilled in brazing and welding for HVAC/R applications.
  • Prior overseas work experience is an advantage.
  • Honest, hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical HVAC/R systems, including water-cooled chillers.
  • Install, replace, and service HVAC systems, components, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair compressors, motors, controls, and other HVAC/R components.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain VRV/VRF systems to ensure proper operation and performance.
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, control schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical testing to identify system faults and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Perform brazing and welding work for HVAC/R piping and component repairs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of HVAC/R equipment.
  • Ensure proper refrigerant handling, system charging, and leak detection procedures.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Follow applicable safety procedures and technical standards when performing installation, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Perform other HVAC/R maintenance and repair duties as assigned.
