Linc Facility Services is seeking qualified and experienced HVAC Technicians to join its facilities maintenance team at Hamad International Airport in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems within a large-scale, high-traffic commercial environment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and comfort standards.
HVAC Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant HVAC or facilities maintenance experience.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within large commercial or industrial establishments.
- Experience must be in maintenance (not construction-only background).
- Relevant college degree, diploma, or certified vocational training in HVAC, mechanical, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work in high-demand environments such as airports or large facilities.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, and cooling equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC units, chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), and related systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure efficient system performance and compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or replacements when necessary.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out according to safety standards and airport operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
- Coordinate with other maintenance teams to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
