Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer for an overseas work opportunity in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air-conditioning and HVAC systems while ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting air-conditioning and HVAC systems.
• F-Gas Certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and air-conditioning equipment.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Good understanding of refrigerants and proper refrigerant handling procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and mechanical HVAC components.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults.
• Inspect HVAC equipment and identify defective, worn, or damaged components.
• Carry out testing and commissioning to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Handle refrigerants in accordance with applicable safety and environmental requirements.
• Monitor refrigerant levels and perform leak detection, recovery, and charging when required.
• Work with Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor and control HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and specifications.
• Inspect and maintain compressors, fans, pumps, motors, valves, controls, and other mechanical components.
• Identify recurring system problems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure HVAC work complies with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with other engineers, technicians, contractors, and project teams.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Perform other HVAC engineering and maintenance duties as assigned.
