MECHANICAL ENGINEER QA/QC

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering (Mechanical) or similar fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proven experience in mechanical site supervision, inspection, documentation, and quality control.
• Knowledge of mechanical installations, shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection procedures.
• Strong coordination and communication skills for working with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage technical documents, reports, inspections, and project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Review mechanical material approvals, mock-up requests, work notifications, and method statements before submission to the consultant.
• Prepare and manage mechanical service documentation and technical submittals for consultant approval.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure mechanical installations comply with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, project management, and site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports to ensure work is completed within required deadlines.
• Coordinate with consultants for the approval and closure of inspection reports.
• Monitor and close outstanding snagging items before project handover.
• Supervise and prepare documentation required for Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) service inspections.
• Ensure all mechanical works meet required quality, safety, and project standards.
