HEAVY EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE PLANNER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Planner or in a similar maintenance planning role.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience in maintenance scheduling, project coordination, inventory control, and maintenance reporting.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance planning and preventive maintenance systems.
- Ability to prepare maintenance schedules, work orders, and equipment performance reports.
- Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
- Sound technical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance practices and workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for heavy equipment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules to maximize equipment availability.
- Coordinate maintenance work with supervisors, technicians, and operations personnel.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance history to optimize maintenance planning.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure the timely availability of maintenance materials and components.
- Prepare work orders, maintenance reports, equipment records, and performance documentation.
- Track maintenance costs, equipment downtime, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for the ordering and replenishment of spare parts.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with company procedures, safety regulations, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency, equipment reliability, and operational performance.
