The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensuring patients receive professional, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment in accordance with healthcare standards.
General Ward Nurse
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital setting or nursing home.
- Proven experience working in a General Ward is required.
- Must possess a valid IELTS or OET result.
- Must have an ongoing NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) application.
- Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and nursing skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to international nursing standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the general ward.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions, vital signs, and progress accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies in accordance with physician orders.
- Assist physicians and healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, clinical training, and continuing education programs.
