Savvana Constructions Limited is seeking a highly experienced General Manager (Precast/Modular) to lead the strategic, operational, and commercial activities of its Modular and Precast Construction Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing manufacturing and construction operations, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished construction executive with extensive experience in modular construction, precast concrete manufacturing, and senior-level operational leadership.

GENERAL MANAGER (Precast/Modular)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in modular construction, precast concrete manufacturing, industrial operations, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role.
  • Strong knowledge of precast concrete production processes and modular construction systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, operations management, project delivery, and business development.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Modular and Precast Construction Division.
  • Develop and implement business plans, operational strategies, and growth initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, production, and delivery of modular and precast construction projects.
  • Manage manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost control.
  • Monitor project performance, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve operational targets.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, production, construction, commercial, and support personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality management systems, workplace health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify business opportunities, prepare commercial proposals, and support contract negotiations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes, construction methodologies, and operational performance.
  • Prepare management reports, financial forecasts, and performance analyses for executive leadership.
  • Mentor and develop managers and technical teams to build organizational capability.
