GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in maintenance and facility operations.
- TESDA NC II certification is required in one or more of the following areas:
- Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Servicing
- Electrical Installation & Maintenance
- Electronics Products Assembly & Servicing
- Electronics Technology
- Fire Detection System
- Mechanical Technology
- Industrial Mechanics
- Plumbing
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills across multiple maintenance disciplines.
- Experience working in Facilities Management, Stadiums, Oil & Gas Facilities, Commercial Buildings, Industrial Plants, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and building management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire detection, and building service systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify defects, malfunctions, and potential operational issues.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain and service air-conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Inspect, test, and maintain fire detection and life safety systems in accordance with applicable standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergency situations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts usage.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, contractors, and facility personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of facility equipment and systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, workshops, and maintenance areas.
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the overall reliability, functionality, and operational efficiency of facilities and building systems.
